Cloudy out, but it was comfortably in the 60s. What a great day to do some radio outside.|
|2||K4AKC||Tom Hatter||>1-5 Watts||SB-40||A1||5||0||0||5||5000||5875||Started with EF Zepp vertical but had to change to G5RV inverted V up at 50 feet when my balanced tuner quit working. 40 mtrs. was better than 20. Used IC-703 on card table under trees. Operated from Brindley Mountain at 1300 ft. I suspect grey line prop. helped. It was fun!
|3||W4QO||Jim||>1-5 Watts||AB||A2||5||14||0||14||5194||Worked it hard for full 60 minutes. KX3 at 5 watts (10w PEP) with 80M horiz LOOP at 70' on 40M and 3 el YAGI at 60' on 20M. Needless to say, I like the shootout format. Hope you get a lot of entries from North GA QRP club. We met today and had 24 members present, including 2 new members!|
|4||WI1G||John Murphy||>1-5 Watts||SB-20||A1||1||1||0||2||5000||5098||Setup 58ft end fed in trees.
Using my KX2 on battery power only made 2 contacts but still had fun. Temp was 34 F.
Band conditions were lousy. Lots of QSB.
Looking forward to more contesting.
Playing radio outside is the best!

|7||WU4B||Clark Macaulay||>1-5 Watts||AB||A1||2||0||0||1||70||K2 to wire in the trees (40m) and wire hex beam (20). Heard K5 and K7 but could not work them.|
|8||K2UFT||Dick Bentley||>5 Watts||AB||A1||3||0||0||3||45||Entry form wouldn't let me enter QSO points or My Score - submitted anyway. First experience with the contest and with a newly installed 130 foot EFHW.|
